He digs it: University of Florida student plans to savor college course work in Africa

Trevor Durham is probably savoring his holiday break at home in Naples. After all, the University of Florida sophomore can sleep in a warm bed, shower indoors and communicate on cell phone as much as he wants. Those are luxuries he won’t have in a couple of months. Durham, 20, a Seacrest Country Day School graduate, is headed to southern Ethiopia in February to participate in an archaeological dig.
